About Us
ACME Teamwork was founded in 2005 by Dennie Dow and Ernie Thebado.
ACME has been a frequent presenter at the NERSC (New England Resident Services Coordinator) Annual Conference. In addition to NERSC, ACME has serviced Maloney Properties, SHP Management, CARSCH (Connecticut Association of Resident Service Coordinators Housing) and RISCC (Rhode Island Service Coordinator's Collaborative).
Dennis Dow
For the past twenty years, Dennis Dow has been organizing and motivating employees and conference participants through teamwork events.
Dennis has over 50 years of experience in human services, beginning with the Boys' Club movement in 1976.
Dennis holds a degree in Sports Management and has attended training with the New Games Foundation as well as MassHousing. He has also attended seminars by motivational speakers John Maxwell and Brian Tracy.
At the annual NERSC (New England Resident Service Coordinators) Conference, ACME Teamwork has presented two of its most successful workshops: “The Power of Play” and “Out of Your Comfort Zone”.
Dennis has also worked with various properties throughout New England, leading teamwork activities for both staff and residents.
Dennis says that his finest accomplishments are his three awesome children, along with his current partner, Darlene.
Ernie Thebado
Ernie Thebado has over forty years of experience in the field of human services. He has served in supervisory roles as an Assistant Director with the Boys & Girls Clubs and, more recently, as Director of the Watertown Recreation Department, where he has led and mentored entry-level professionals in youth services.
Ernie is known for fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture, motivating many of his staff to remain in the field and advance to higher-level positions in a profession often challenged by high turnover. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to both youth development and the professional growth of those he supervises.
